Plastic bottle packaging is an important part of the pharmaceutical packaging market. For medicines containing ferrous salts, alcohols, ethers, aromatic amines, pyrazolones, thiophenazines and other easily oxidizable components, packaging materials should be required to have high oxygen resistance. If the oxygen resistance of the plastic bottle is low, that is, the oxygen transmission rate is high, these components are easily oxidized under the action of oxygen, and the medicine will change color and reduce the efficacy of the medicine. Therefore, the oxygen resistance of packaging plastic bottles is one of the key performance indicators that should be considered when choosing pharmaceutical packaging materials.
