Many people know that plastic bottles can be divided into three categories: solid, liquid, and powder. Among them, what is the difference between the characteristics of packaging of solid and liquid plastic bottles?

Regarding the difference in characteristics between liquid and solid plastic bottles, we carry out targeted sub-analysis from two parts.

First, the mouth of a plastic bottle, the diameter of a solid plastic bottle is larger than that of a liquid plastic bottle, because the sealing property of the solid product is relatively low, but the diameter of the solid product tends to be large, which makes the solid plastic bottle convenient for the filling line of the product. It is necessary to improve the bottle mouth. We can see that the wide-mouth plastic bottles on the market are mainly used to package solid products. Conversely, liquid plastic bottles require higher sealing performance, and for the convenience of drinking and filling, small-mouth plastic bottles will be used more in the liquid market.

Second, regarding the wall thickness and transparency of plastic bottles, solid plastic bottles do not require high transparency and wall thickness for plastic bottles. However, liquid plastic bottles have high requirements on wall thickness. Liquid products have a certain pressure, and plastic bottles are required to withstand pressure. This requires liquid plastic bottles to reach a certain wall thickness to withstand the pressure of the product. Liquid products also have requirements for the transparency of plastic bottles. Some liquid products are sensitive to light and must be noticed in design.

For solid and liquid plastic bottles, the difference is basically concentrated on the details of the product, I hope that our manufacturers can pay attention to and treat.
